The essence of tango for me lies in its simplicity and subtlety. For tango is a communication, a communication between you and the person you tango with, between you (the dancer) and the composer, between your mind and your body, between your body and the floor, etc. Communication requires one to hear. To hear, one must quiet himself; one must humble and pure his heart. Only afterwards one can move with mutual confidence, energy and preciseness Can you see the beauty, can you hear it, can you smell it, can you feel it, can you taste it?
